Cleveland Cavaliers big Tristan Thompson has been suspended for 25 games without pay after violating the league’s Anti-Drug Program.

Thompson tested positive for ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033, the league announced.

The 32-year-old signed a one-year deal with Cleveland this past summer after finishing last season with the Lakers.

In the absence of Evan Mobley, Thompson has proven to be a handy option for head coach J.B. Bickerstaff having averaged 12.4 minutes per game across 36 games.

Thompson was drafted by the Cavs back in 2011 and spent nine seasons with the franchise before parting ways with them at the end of the 2019/20 season.

He started all 21 games of Cleveland’s 2016 title run averaging 10.3 ppg and 10.1 rpg to help drag them back from a 3-1 deficit to overcome the Warriors in the Finals.
