For the first time in his golf career, Cameron Young of Scarborough, New York has delivered a win on the PGA Tour. On Sunday in Greensboro, North Carolina, he posted a four round score of -22 to win the 2025 Wyndham Championship.

Young’s victory in Greensboro was rather dominant. He defeated his closest competitor, Mac Meissner of Charleston, South Carolina, by six strokes. Meissner was all alone in second place at -16.

This was the third most dominant win on the PGA Tour this season. The only two golfers to win by more than six strokes are Scottie Scheffler of Ridgewood, New Jersey, who posted a sensational score of -31 and won the 2025 CJ Cup outside of Dallas in May, and Thomas Detry of Brussels, Belgium, who shot a four round score of -24 to win the 2025 Phoenix Open in February.  Scheffler beat his nearest opponent, Erik van Rooyen of South Africa by eight strokes, and Detry beat his two nearest competitors, Daniel Berger and Michael Kim, both of the United States, by seven strokes.
