Bucks guard Patrick Beverley suspended four games

According to Sean Leahy and Ryan Young of Yahoo! Sports on Thursday, Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley of Chicago, Illinois has been suspended four games to start the 2024-25 National Basketball Association regular season. The reason for the suspension was because of inappropriate behaviour in game six of the Eastern Conference first round playoff series between the Bucks and Indiana Pacers, a 120-98 Pacers win on May 2.
On multiple occasions, Beverley threw a basketball into the crowd. On one occasion, he actually hit a female spectator in the head, and then threw a basketball with high velocity toward another spectator. It was a huge surprise to many that Beverley was not ejected from the game for his actions. However, he will face discipline at the start of next season.
The poor behaviour from Beverley continued after the 22 point Bucks loss. Beverley told Malinda Adams of ESPN that he would not answer any of her questions in a postgame media scrum because she did not subscribe to his podcast. Well, I for one, had no idea whatsoever that Beverley had a podcast, and it will be interesting to see how many more subscribers Beverley gets for his podcast because of his actions.
The Pacers meanwhile trail the New York Knicks after two round two losses. New York won game one by a score of 121-117 on Monday and 130-121 on Tuesday. Knicks star Jalen Brunson has an impressive combined total of 72 points in the first two games of the series to date. Game three is in Indiana on Friday.
