The Milwaukee Brewers have qualified for the 2025 National League Championship Series. On Saturday night at the American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs 3-1 to win the best out of five National League Divisional Series three games to two. This was a homer series as the home team won every game. Next up for the Brewers are the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Brewers had all three of their home runs in the game from solo home runs. Catcher William Contreras of Puerto Cabello, Venezuela hit a home run in the first inning, first baseman Andrew Vaughn of Santa Rosa, California hit a home run in the fourth inning, and second baseman Brice Turang of Corona, California hit a home run in the seventh inning.

Brewers All-Star rookie starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski of Blue Springs, Missouri pitched four very solid innings in relief. He only gave up one earned run in four innings of work (a Seiya Suzuki home run) on Saturday. In the seven innings Misiorowski pitched in the series, he had an earned run average of 1.29 and has excellent control as he had seven strikeouts compared to two walks.

The Brewers did have the best record in the Majors this season at 97 wins and 65 losses for a winning percentage of .599, but now have their work cut out for themselves. They will face a franchise in the Dodgers that have been expected since the beginning of the season to be where they are now, and as a unit, will be a very difficult out.

CHANCES ARE YOU’RE ABOUT TO LOSE.
