Our form analyst has looked over the replays & sectional times from Randwick on Saturday and has placed his list of horses you must follow below.

DON CORLEONE

What an outstanding debut from this powerful two-year-old colt. Peter Snowden isn’t known for his over exuberance but he’s upbeat about the son of Extreme Choice. He sat wide in the run and still won recording the fastest last 600 metres for the meeting.

KUNDALINI

This two-year-old filly also made a first class debut only going down to Don Corleone. The pair ran away from their rivals over the concluding stages. Kundalini was also part of the speed battle from the outset and kept on fighting while the other pacy runners dropped away. The I Am Invincible filly showed she is top draw material.

NICCOLINI VITO

Victorian visitor who finished off nicely but for him the race was over for him at the start when he was bumped by Vreneli and forced to go settle back which contrasts with his usual racing style. Racing NSW stewards also noted he was held up between the 400m and the 200m mark. His rider James McDonald stated that with the pace coming out of the race in the middle stages, his mount was not suited from a rearward position when it developed into a sprint home.

KETTLE HILL

Former English galloper who had little luck when he finished fifth behind Bluff ‘n’ Bluster as he was trapped wide throughout. He was also held up over the concluding stages of the race. He’s now had three runs in Australia and should be ready to fire over 1600 metres at his next start.
