Black Book: Horses You Must Back Next Start From Canterbury 28/11
3 months ago - Sportingbase
The replays and sectional times have been analysed from Friday night’s Canterbury meeting. Our analyst is keen to stick with a David Payne 3yo that should be breaking his maiden soon.
Hereward
It should pay to stick with Hereward after his 0.6L 2nd in the opener at Canterbury on Friday night. He crossed from the outside gate but couldn’t land the fence in run settling outside the leader and eventual winner Patonga. That was the difference in the end as it was proven to be a huge advantage having fence in run throughout the night. The form from the race should be holding up as they ran 0.05s faster than the more experienced horses in the BM72 ran later in the night.
