Australia have improved to 3-0 at the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup chasing down Namibia’s 72 in less than six overs with nine wickets in hand.

Mitch Marsh won the toss and sent the Namibians in on the deck of Antigua’s Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Gerhard Erasmus’ Namibians – who had split their first two matches of the tournament – were under pressure early.

They found themselves at 3-for-15 early in the fifth over and did little to stop the bleeding.

Erasmus (36 from 43) and opener Michael van Lingen (10 from 10) were the only players to finish in double figures with their final seven batters adding just 14 combined runs.

Adam Zampa took 4-for-12 for the Australians with Josh Hazlewood and Marcus Stoinis both finishing with two each.

David Warner (20 off 8) fell early after an aggressive spurt before Travis Head (34 from 17) and Marsh (18 from 9) got the side home.

They next face Scotland on Sunday in their final outing of the group stage.
