Huge last start when tramping deep and was incredibly brave to still run 3rd. Think if KB can find him a smother midfield from another awkward draw, this looks a very winnable assignment and a. nice price to find out.

Don’t mind the set-up here for War God. Is finally down enough in his rating to get into this really well-weighted after the claim for Laqdar and maps to more than likely find the top unopposed. Fit, backs up off 7 days and given the lack of intent last start I think this is the race they have pinpointed for him to try and pinch.

Terrific 1st up run from Mackenzie Brooke who I think can really improve 2nd up here at the 1800m. Joey is in very good form and we didn’t see the best of her last prep when she copped some absolute shockers. The tempo will be very genuine with That’s Funny Az, Trap For Fools and Cockney Crew, she stays and has a turn of foot that I genuinely believe can be playing a role.

Pike in the last, let’s rip. Tinsnip looks the perfect pick-up ride for Pike, maps to land in the box-seat off the 7 day back up and is a horse that prefers to be ridden hands and heels, the wizard’s forte. Gets weight back in her favour after carrying the grandstand last week and just looks very, very hard to beat in the get out.

Just want to have something incredibly small on this runner, who has been running last 200m sectionals that need to be seen to be believed of late. If she isn’t 7 lengths off them and they bunch on the turn, she can be running past these, no shadow of a doubt. Whether she is within striking distance however, is a massive if.
