There’s little doubt the top four at the top of the AFL ladder are the primary chances to win the 2023 premiership.
Although the TopSport betting has ladder leaders Collingwood as a $4.50 favourite, in reality there’s little between them and the other three teams immediately below them on the ladder.
Melbourne is going about their business in a professional manner and are on their way to securing a double chance. Melbourne is just behind them in the betting at $4.60.

Brisbane with its forward line led by Charlie Cameron and Joe Daniher are playing excellent football and they have their fortress of the Gabba also to help them chalk up wins. They are $5.50 third favourite.
Geelong, suffered their first loss in six matches, when they went down to their old foes in the Tigers and is a $6.50 fourth chance.
Port Adelaide keep on winning and they have an even spread of talent. They are $13.

The Losers?
The Saints hit the wall this time last year when they catapulted down the ladder and could be about to do the same judging by their poor effort against the Crows.
The Cats showed they lacked depth when they were beaten by Richmond. Also if you can take Jeremy Cameron out of the game you a lot closer to defeating the Cats.
The Blues were again disappointing. They have won eight from their past 21 which suggests they are far from a premiership threat.
