Our analyst is back for another week of AFL and has found some selections for you to follow.

COLLINGWOOD $1.95 v BRISBANE $1.85 – Friday, 7.50pm Marvel Stadium

It’s the battle of the top two clubs and Brisbane would love to continue their ascendancy over Collingwood having won their past five matches. Brisbane also love the Docklands having won eight of their past nine games there. Collingwood are still without Nick Daicos which is a huge out plus Jordan De Goey and Bobby Hill will also miss.

RICHMOND $1.25 v NORTH MELBOURNE $4 – Saturday, 1.45pm MCG

The Tigers finally get one back on the Kangaroos by having a farewell match to say goodbye to two of their all-time legends in Jack Riewoldt and Trent Cotchin. They also return to the MCG after two flat performances at their hoodoo venue Docklands. North defeated Richmond late last year when they last clashed at the Docklands. The Kangaroos are bursting to win another match and should go close.

GOLD COAST $2.35 v CARLTON $1.60 – Saturday, 2.10pm Gold Coast

The Blues are on fire having won their past eight matches and should continue their momentum towards September. The Gold Coast return to their home after two losses on the road. When they last played there they comfortably defeated Brisbane. This is likely to be a close contest.

GWS GIANTS $1.42 v ESSENDON $2.85 – Saturday, 4.35pm Giants Stadium

The Bombers have just held on to their final’s dreams over the past two matches with narrow wins over the Eagles and North which is hardly great form. The Giants have also lost their past two matches against in-form teams Sydney and Port Adelaide. Only one team will still be in the finals race after this match and that should be the Giants.

ST KILDA $2.25 v GEELONG $1.65 – Saturday, 7.25pm Marvel Stadium

The injury ravaged Cats were gallant against Collingwood but fell short. The Saints were far too good against Richmond at Marvel Stadium. The Saints speed could worry the Cats. Sure to be a close game. The Cats need to win to keep their finals hopes alive.

ADELAIDE $1.52 V SYDNEY $2.55 – Saturday, 7.40pm Adelaide Oval

This is a fascinating match with the Crows needing to win to stay in the race for the finals. They are up against Sydney who with Carlton have been the in-form team of the competition. Adelaide have won six of their past seven at home. Sydney have won their past five matches and their past three against Adelaide.

WESTERN BULLDOGS $1.02 v WEST COAST EAGLES $14 – Sunday, 1.10pm Marvel Stadium

The Western Bulldogs get a chance at an important percentage booster against the hapless Eagles, who were disgraceful against the Dockers.

MELBOURNE $1.27 v HAWTHORN $3.80 – Sunday, 3.20pm MCG

There’s one team outside the eight causing problems for those in it and that’s the Hawks who are flying. They love the MCG and have nothing to lose. The Demons were unlucky against the Blues but need to win to a) secure a spot in the top four and b) hold off the Blues who are charging. This should be a great game.

FREMANTLE $2.35 v PORT ADELAIDE $1.60 – Sunday, 4.40pm Optus Stadium

Fremantle have started to show the form which was expected from them at the start of the year. Port Adelaide returned to form with a comfortable win against the Giants. Fremantle defeated Port Adelaide by eight points when last met at Optus Stadium last year.
