Good comeback to the round, this season has thrown a lot of unpredictable results with COVID forcing teams into starting the season late or having lengthy spells without a game. We go again this week with a lot more consistency coming back.

Western Sydney Wanderers v Newcastle Jets – Bankwest Stadium, Friday 7:05 pm AEDT

The Jets enter this matchup with a breath of fresh air after finding their first win of the season against Wellington Phoenix 2-1. The Wanderers were victorious in the first meeting of the season in Newcastle and although the Jets were able to get their first points, the Wanderers should win this one in front of their home fans.

  • 0.75 unit: Wanderers Win 2.30 with Sportsbet ❌
  • 1.5 units: Both teams To Score 1.62 with Sportsbet ✅

Western United FC v Melbourne Victory – AAMI Park, Saturday 5:05 pm AEDT

United have a strong history against Victory who just had their first win of the season as they edged out Perth Glory. United will be the stronger team and they probably see this as more a derby compared to Victory. Both teams will be vying for the win, as Melbourne look to get their first win against United.

  • 0.25 unit: Result & Both To Score Western United 4.00 with Sportsbet ❌
  • 0.5 unit: Western United to Win 2.30 with Sportsbet ❌

Macarthur FC v Sydney FC – Campbelltown Stadium, Saturday 7:10 pm AEDT

This is the first meeting between the two Sydney teams. The defending champions have started the season shaky and Macarthur has fought well to earn two wins and a draw from four starts. Both sides have struggled to produce goals so it is unexpected that there will be a lot of production. Sydney has shown that they can edge out games and they will do the same here.

  • 0.25 unit: BYO SPORTSBET – UP TO $10 Sydney FC to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 3.60 with Sportsbet ❌
  • 0.75 unit: Sydney FC to Win and Under 3.5 goals 3.20 with Sportsbet ✅

Brisbane Roar v Adelaide United – Dolphin Stadium, Saturday 9:15 pm AEDT

Adelaide has won five of their last six games against Brisbane in the A-League and the Roar are winless in their last three games at home losing two and drawing one. United are the underdogs as they travel to Brisbane and with the unpredictability of the A-League this season, past history may be thrown out the window but with that said I do like Adelaide at 3.00. Both teams sit inside the top 6 with United having played 4 and Brisbane 3.

  • 0.25 units: Adelaide United Win 3.00 with Sportsbet ❌
  • 0.75 units: Over 3.5 goals 2.92 with Sportsbet ✅

Central Coast Mariners v Wellington Phoenix – Bluetongue Stadium, Sunday 4:05 pm AEDT

Central Coast head into this game on the back of a 2-0 win over Sydney FC and they sit in second place behind Brisbane Roar after four games. They face a Phoenix outfit who sit at the bottom and will want results as they push for the top six. However, this Mariners team looks much stronger than Wellington and they should take this one at home despite the low odds for Wellington for a win.

  • 0.25 units: Central Coast Win 3.72 with Matchbook ❌
  • 1 unit: Double Chance Central Coast Mariners 1.78 with Unibet ❌

Melbourne City v Perth Glory – AAMI Park, Sunday 6:40 pm AEDT

Melbourne City has become a strong outfit at home and they should see out Perth Glory here. After three games they sit in seventh 1 point outside the top six and will want to take advantage of their games in hand as they could move to tied first with a win. The Glory have won one game in their three opening games so they will be desperate to kickstart their season. Melbourne to inch out this game at home.

  • 0.5 unit: Melbourne City Win 2.05 with Ladbrokes
  • 1.5 units: Over 2.5 goals 1.79 with Sportsbet ✅

Central Coast Mariners v Melbourne City – Bluetongue Stadium, Wednesday 7:05 pm AEDT

This is a must-win game for Melbourne City who has started the season poorly. Both of these teams played on Sunday and will back it up on Wednesday, City is the favourite however, they will be disadvantaged having to travel from Melbourne while the Mariners play their second home game in a row. An upset is very likely with their last four meetings featuring three or more goals.

  • 0.15 units: Central Coast Mariners Win 3.30 with Sportsbet ✅
  • 0.25 units: Over 3.5 goals 2.83 with Sportsbet ✅
  • 1.5 units: Over 2.5 goals 1.73 with Ladbrokes ✅
