With both teams without a victory in week one, it seems it will make both teams even more determined to take away the win against their arch-rivals.

Sydney had to settle with a 1-1 draw against Adelaide last week and with only one shot on target, they would count themselves lucky not to walk away with a loss in the first game of the post-Arnold era.

The Wanderers, on the other hand, would’ve taken away some confidence from a hard-fought draw against Perth last week. Markus Babbel’s side was down 1-0 going into halftime but were saved by a 65th-minute equaliser scored by Roly Bonevacia.

History is on the Sky Blues side in this fixture, winning eight of the last 13 clashes in the Hyundai A-League.
