Three golfers who could win the 2026 Cadillac Championship

The PGA Tour is returning to the Blue Monster this weekend with the Cadillac Championship. It is interesting that the PGA Tour is realigning itself with American President Donald Trump and going to one of his courses. They last went to Doral in 2016.
Here are the three golfers we like this week the most.

Scottie Scheffler

Should we be surprised? The answer is no. The world number one has only won one PGA Tour event this year, and that was the American Express at La Quinta back in January. Despite not being in the winner’s circle for three months now, Scheffler needs to be praised for his impressive consistency. He has finished in second place in his last two tournaments–the Masters and RBC Heritage.

Cameron Young

The native of Scarborough, New York is now the world number four after his impressive win this year at the Players Championship. Earlier this year in the same state he will be competing in this weekend, Young had a four round score of -13 and beat England’s Matt Fitzpatrick by a stroke. Speaking of Matt Fitzpatrick, he teamed up with his brother Alex to win the Zurich Championship of New Orleans this past weekend. As for Young, he finished in third place at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Masters. Young is second to Matt Fitzpatrick when it comes to total driving (a statistic that takes driving distance and driving accuracy into account).

Hideki Matsuyama

The world number 15 has not missed a cut since the 2025 PGA Championship. The Japanese golfer who actually hails from Matsuyama, Japan and won the 2021 Masters, has made 24 straight cuts in fact.
