It is a very interesting time of year for the National Football League. Even though there are no games, free agency is now in full swing. Here are the three richest defensive linemen who have switched teams.
John Franklin-Myers
The Tennessee Titans have signed John Franklin-Myers of Los Angeles, California to a three-year deal worth $63 million. Franklin-Myers is joining his fourth NFL franchise. He previously played one season with the Los Angeles Rams (2018), four seasons with the New York Jets (2020 to 2023), and the last two seasons with the Denver Broncos (2024 to 2025). In 2025, Franklin-Myers had 25 combined tackles (12 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles), six tackles for a loss, 15 quarterback hits, and 7.5 sacks.
Dre’Mont Jones
The New England Patriots have signed Dre’Mont Jones of Cleveland, Ohio to a three-year deal worth $39 million. Jones is joining his fifth NFL franchise after four seasons with the Denver Broncos (2019 to 2022), two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks (2023 to 2024), and the 2025 season where shared his time with the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens. Jones had 43 combined tackles (19 solo tackles and 24 assisted tackles), seven tackles for a loss, 24 quarterback hits, one pass deflection and two fumble recoveries for two yards. The pass deflection came in a 23-10 Ravens win over the New York Jets on November 23.
Kingsley Enagbare
The New York Jets have signed Kingsley Enagbare of Atlanta, Georgia to a one-year contract worth $10 million. Enagbare had 39 combined tackles (16 solo tackles and 23 assisted tackles), nine quarterback hits, six tackles for a loss, and two sacks with the Green Bay Packers in 2025. It was his fourth straight year in Green Bay. One complete sack came in a 28-21 Packers win over the Chicago Bears on December 7, while half a sack each came in a 27-23 Packers win over the Arizona Cardinals on October 19 and in a 31-24 Packers win over the Detroit Lions on November 27.
